Here are a few concrete cleaning tips.
1. A good mix is 1 part bleach to 2 parts water and a couple of squirts of dish soap for every gallon of mix. For more mold and mildew killing power use 1 part bleach to 1 part water.
2. Always start with lower water pressure (around 2000psi) to test the concrete's durability. Too much pressure could damage the concrete.
3. Never pressure wash brand new concrete before it has had time to cure.
4. Clean oil stains and spots as quickly as possible. The fresher they are the better they will clean up.
5. Be extremely careful cleaning around the edges of a concrete slab. Landscaping, dirt, and debris can fly around from the pressure.
6. Always wear the proper personal protection including safety glasses. |
