| A little while back, I was working with a friend on spraying painting his house and noticed some bricks ended up with some overspray. Can you use a high pressure washer to remove the paint? |

| The fresher it is the better chance you'll have of getting it off. Eacochem makes some pretty good products. There is also a product called Tag that I've heard is a pretty good graffiti remover. |

Thanks for the tips Midwestpro. Unfortunately, the paint has been on for almost 2 years. Are the chemicals you suggested available at your local home repair center? It's just on a handful of bricks and very light, but enough to bug me. I'm just a little OCD. |

I do not typically mess with anything from the home improvement stores. They have to make consumer grade cleaners somewhat safe to handle, unfortunately because of this a lot of them are ineffective.
Contractor grade cleaners like the ones I mentioned will be much more effective both in cost and results. But you do have to take care in handling them. Gloves, safety glasses, and a respirator are recommended. This is why it is best left to a professional. |
