| I am very concerned what effect winter salt has on treated decks. If this is mixed with cleaning solutions is it wearing through the treatment faster? I try to sweep it off but it freezes down and eventually dissolves. Not alot I can do as salt is all over the place in the winter |

Not sure what effect it would have on a deck if any. I would think that a few rains in the early spring would rinse it off pretty well. It should not affect a deck at all if it is sealed properly, that is why it is important to have your deck sealed, to protect it.

| I would think that there would be some damage from the salt to the sealer - isn't that possible? I've seen some of the damage the salt can do to things like my paved driveway even, so do you think that the salt could reduce the lifespan of the sealer and require more frequent application? |
